Stop the presses because this novel should be front page news!! Author Lee Winter has provided the lesfic community with a plot driven, highly stimulating, page turning, intricately woven, written masterpiece.
Ayers and King are two strong female characters that will have you laughing, crying, and cheering in triumph for their tenacity and diligence to solve the case and report the truth.. And the mystery surrounding the scoop they stumble upon is brilliant in it's complexity, with just enough twists, turns, and suspense to keep the reader guessing.
I have been a fan of Lee's writing for years, and her debut novel only proves her excellence as a wordsmith, story teller, and artist. Her insight, quick wit, and immense intellect shine through on every page of this groundbreaking story.
This is a book you will not loan your friends because you won't want it out of your sight. And God help you if you ever hear her speak, as you'll be begging for an audio version of her book.That sultry Aussie accent will have you wishing you were Down Under ;)

Fast-paced addictive and very humerous. The mystery plot is exceptional. I have read a lot of these and this storyline is defenitly a cut above the rest.

This novel has NYT best seller quality

As an avid fiction reader, I am beyond impressed with the level of writing and storytelling in this novel. I find the genre of lesbian fiction typically lacking in plot and complexity but The Red Files stands alone. This novel has NYT best seller quality. The lead characters have several levels of depth and backstory that defines their current actions and responses, and the supporting cast is equally interesting. The plot is fascinating, and depicts a real life scenario that could potentially be taking place right now under our noses without anybody really putting any focus on it. I hope this is the first of many novels from this author, as I was lost in her pages and didn't want to come back out. Such a fun read.
